Konvertor

Thanks to third party software, you can solve any issue or make your work easier. If you need audio files in a different format, you can download a converter, if you need to adjust your pictures, it is not hard to find an image editor and the examples can go on. If you don't want to fill up your hard drive with countless applications, you can use Konvertor. It is an all-in-one application which can be used to organize files, convert them, edit tag information and much more.

Basic configuration can be made during the setup process. You can select a skin for the interface, specify a destination and a Temp folder and associate the software with one or more image formats. Konvertor can be installed for one or more users and it is also possible to install a portable version on a USB flash drive.

You will find a very large number of options on the interface's toolbar or in its top menus, but this should not intimidate you. If you take your time and look around the main window, accommodating to Konvertor should not take long. The first thing you should know is that Konvertor's interface is similar to an explorer window. It lets you explore any location on your hard drive and network places as well. You can navigate by double clicking icons on the larger area of the window or by using the tree menu on the left side. Filters can be set up to display only images, audio files, text documents, archives and more. It is also possible to filter media files by a format of your choosing.

You can rate files, from 1 to 5, and sort or select them by this rating. The files are displayed as thumbnails, making it possible to preview their contents. This is not available only for media files. The same type of thumbnails are displayed for text documents or PDF files. A series of icons are displayed over the thumbnails, making it possible to perform certain actions much faster. For example, you can start editing the files' tag information, rate them and more. If you have a word document or a PDF file with multiple pages, you can display additional thumbnails, for each page, on the same area of the interface. All it takes is to click the small icon on the original thumbnail.

The software comes with its own image viewer and media player. The image viewer features a wide range of basic and advanced editing options and it will not take long to load. The functions and tools you will find on Konvertor's interface are too many to count. You can perform mostly any actions, such as compressing files, converting them, capturing or recording the screen, scanning documents and much more.
